NEW AT INDOOR GARDENING?   HERE ARE A COUPLE OF THINGS TO CONSIDER

WATTAGE:   The lamp wattage must match the ballast wattage.  If you want to run a 1000w lamp then be sure to use a 1000w ballast.  A 600w lamp needs a 600w ballast and a 400w lamp needs a 400w ballast. How many watts do you need?  This depends on the actual area the plants will be using

1000 watts = up to 8' x 8' area

600 watts = up to 5' x 5' area

400 watts = up to 4' x 4' area

250 watts = up to 3' x 3' area

MH or HPS:  If you decide on a Metal Halide lamp (excellent for vegitative growth and fair for flowering) then  be sure to order a Metal Halide ballast.  If you choose a High Pressure Sodium lamp  (fair for vegitative growth and excellent for flowering)  then be sure to order a High Pressure Sodium ballast.  Maximize your indoor gardening results by considering either a SWITCHABLE or DIGITAL (electronic) ballast that allows you to switch between MH or HPS lamps as needed.

REFLECTOR:  All Sunlight Supply reflectors work with any Sunlight Supply  lamp/ballast combination so just pick the one that fits your indoor gardening situation the best. Keep in mind that refelctors with built-in vents and tempered glass for cooling  will significanly increase yields as they allow the user to bring the lamp/reflector much closer to the growing plants without burning them

SHIPPING

Lighting systems are shipped via UPS from a warehouse closest to the buyers address.  With four locations across the U.S. this significanly decreases the amount of handling each parcel receives.  Indoor gardening supplies are generally sent from our warehouse on the West coast unless they too can be drop shipped from a closer location.  Shipping is included in the sales price of each item sold for delivery within the continental USA.  Note that all grow lights and indoor gardening supplies should be inspected for apparent damage at the time of receipt.  In most cases a signature is required  by  the UPS  driver except for indoor gardening supplies of lesser monetary value.
